Panther Systems developed our rugged mouse pad and decal to teach new-hires to interpret TAPPI IDs quickly and avoid making critical mistakes. Students in pulp and paper science programs can also learn this practical skill quickly and prepare themselves for internships and employment.
Our mouse pad uses a rugged hard surface that resists wear in the worst circumstances imaginable. A tough non-slip rubber backing prevents the mouse pad from moving. This mouse pad has proven to perform well, even in very unforgiving industrial environments. Still, it also has a smart and modern appearance suitable for any office setting.
The decal is waterproof, allowing you display them almost anywhere. We developed the decal for fork and clamp trucks, and the repositionable adhesive makes them safe to install on leased equipment. Of course, they are helpful to fork and clamp truck drivers, however we also see them displayed throughout the mill, wherever operators are likely to read shipping unit labels.
Most importantly, these ingenious decoding tools enable personnel to read smart numbers quickly with minimal training and time.
