MillTools 2.0 and TestCentral 2.0 go live at Ox Industries in Pekin, Illinois
Pekin, Illinois – Ox Industries upgraded the existing Panther Systems MillTools manufacturing execution system (MES) and TestCentral quality tracking suite to MillTools 2.0 and TestCentral 2.0 at the manufacturer’s 100% recycled paperboard mill in Pekin, Illinois on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Panther MES experts were on hand to support mill personnel during the go-live event. MillTools 2.0 and TestCentral 2.0 going live at the Pekin mill was the first of four scheduled projects to update all Ox Industries paper mills to Panther’s state-of-the-art MES and quality tracking solutions.

EverFresh software
The upgrade to the new system cost Ox Industries nothing. Panther continuing service agreements include more than around-the-clock support. Supported customers receive a Panther benefit called EverFresh. This benefit includes unlimited software updates at no cost to customers. Panther works closely with customers to test and release the new software to production.
Ox Industries asked Panther Systems to travel to the mill and assist their core team in supporting new users during the transition. Panther personnel finalized preparation for go live at the mill and remained on-site to support the mill’s core team and provide on-the-job support for users.
